Trainee Licence For Driving Instructors

Trainee Licence For Driving Instructors

A Driving Instructor Trainee Licence is an option that can be used as part of the qualification process in becoming a Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency Appoved Driving Instructor, DVSA ADI

It is not compulsory to take the trainee licence option, you can continue your training for the DVSA ADI Part 3 Test without a trainee licence.

The Trainee Licence should be seen as a method of gaining more experience, and being better prepared before taking the DVSA ADI Part 3.

Advantages of using a Trainee Licence

Disadvantages of using a Trainee Licence

Using a Trainee Licence Successfuly

Some driving schools, and some trainees treat the Trainee Licence as a means of working and earning money.

They lose sight of the fact that there is the matter of having to pass the DVSA ADI Part 3 test.

As a consequence the focus becomes about earning money short term and not about preparing for the DVSA ADI Part 3 Test.

The focus of the Trainee Licence must be preparation for The DVSA ADI Part 3 Test.
