Driving Instructor Qualification Process

Qualification Process To Become A Driving Instructor

There are several stages in the qualification process to become a Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor (DVSA ADI)

The qualification process must be completed within 2 years from the date that the ADI Part 1 is passed, (if not the qualification process needs to be restarted).

A maximum of 3 attempts are allowed for The Driving Ability Test, ADI Part 2.

If The Driving Ability Test, ADI Part 2 is failed three times, the qualification process has to be restarted, but it cannot be restarted until 2 years have elapsed from the date ADI Part 1 was passed.

A maximum of 3 attempts are allowed for The Instructional Ability Test, ADI Part 3.

If The Instructional Ability Test, ADI Part 3 is failed three times, the qualification process has to be restarted, but it cannot be restarted until 2 years have elapsed from the date ADI Part 1 was passed.

Driving Instructor Trainers can help you to train and prepare for all 3 stages of the qualification process.
